The AB Iron Cash Drawer is a performance solution with a functional design for smooth, trouble-free transaction cycles. Extensively tested, it provides our customers with heavy-duty reliability even in the most demanding environments. Equipped with a removable currency tray which includes five bill and five-coin compartments, while the stainless-steel bill clamps securely keep bills in place without causing damage. Additionally, two media slots can be used to store gift cards, certificates, checks, higher denomination bills, and other items.

Conectividad

Compatibility & connectivity make the AB Axel easy to integrate into any Point-of-sale system and build around it. The AB Iron Cash Drawer includes a 27’ cable that can be simply connected to any industry-standard receipt printer with RJ11, RJ12, or DKD compatible sockets, which allows for the drawer to be configured to open automatically during a cash transaction (printer not included with purchase).

The Universal Tablet stand includes a 36’ USB cable with interchangeable adapters for seamless connection for lightning, Micro USB, and USB-C compatible devices. The USB connection port has a 90° angle and uses strong magnets to adhere to the tablet. This design, not only makes the connection more convenient and comfortable but protects the equipment reducing the chances of getting in the way or damaged.

Seguridad

The Iron Cash Drawer comes with a 3-position lock and one set of two keys. The lock can be set to either locked, Printer driven, or Manual open, based on the needs of the customer, which allows for security and flexibility.

- Locked: securely closed and cannot be open by any means without the key

- Printer Driven: used for cash transactions to open the cash drawer when connected to a compatible receipt printer (not included)

- Manual: Manually open the cash drawer

To complete the AB Axel and create a first-class POS solution, we have brought together design & functionality. With a high resistance paint coat, durable metal framing, and the AB Iron Cash Drawer’s stainless-steel front, the AB Axel creates a modern, functional, and secure POS station. Cables can be routed through the Universal Tablet Stand to keep exposure to a minimum. Two additional cable holders are included to keep the station organized. The AB Axel combines versatility, compatibility, and security to bring our customers the most complete Point-of-Sale station.
